You’ll find kettle corn at Chippy’s; a variety of artisan cheeses and cheese curds at Farmer John’s; delicious homemade salsas and chips at the Salsa Man’s; pita chips, flatbread, humus, cheese spreads and summer sausage, beef sticks and jerky at the Violet Rose Cattle Co.; pickles, preserves and beer jelly at Chef K. Clarks. All the vendors can help you select just the right thing.
This week’s live entertainment is the Prairie Bayou Cajun Band. This all women band will play the music of the Cajuns in Southwestern Louisiana with guitar, bass, accordion, fiddle, percussion and vocals.
Master Gardener Volunteers are looking forward to questions that arise this time of year. September is the perfect time to evaluate your yard and garden and look for ways to invigorate your landscape. Get expert advice this Sunday and September 20.
Visit the Monona Public Library’s booth to check out books and pick up info featuring upcoming events and library programs. Bring your library card. If you don’t have one, you can fill out an application. The Friends of the Monona Public Library will also have books for sale. Librarian Karlyn Spevacek will share some stories and songs.
