Families and Individuals are able to buy produce and other products with their Quest cards by conducting Electronic Benefit Transfers (EBT) at our market stall. EBT services are available at our market all season long.

Monona Farmers Market Offers Double Dollars
Madison Area Farmers’ Market Double Dollars is a program for SNAP/FoodShare users. The program offers a dollar for dollar match for all SNAP transactions up to $25 per market day. The Double Dollars program kicks off on the first Sunday in June.

What is SNAP?
SNAP logoSNAP stands for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly called Food Stamps.  SNAP is a federal program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) in collaboration with state agencies.  The federal government funds the program and sets eligibility requirements. In Wisconsin The Department of Health Services administers the program. The purpose of SNAP is to supplement the income of low- and no-income families and individuals so that they can better afford nutritious foods.

FoodShare Wisconsin – A Recipe for Good Health
FoodShare Wisconsin was created to help stop hunger and to improve nutrition and health. Each month people of all ages who have a job but have low incomes, are living on small or fixed income, have lost their job, and are retired or disabled and not able to work across Wisconsin get help from FoodShare.
